Pada saat ini sistem penjualan melalui internet sedang berkembang pesat, Banyak perusahaan yang memanfaatkan teknologi yang berbasis web sebagai suatu strategi perusahaan dalam menawarkan produk kepada seluruh konsumen tanpa harus dibatasi oleh ruang dan waktu. Mulai dari perusahaan besar hingga usaha kecil dan menengah telah menjadikan sistem transaksi penjualan secara online sebagai sarana promosi yang murah dan terjangkau.Perancangan sistem informasi penjualan berbasis web ini merupakan solusi yang terbaik untuk memecahkan permasalahan yang ada, serta dengan sistem yang terkomputerisasi dapat tercapai suatu kegiatan yang efektif dan efisien dalam menunjang aktifitas pada perusahaan ini.
